Sacramental Opportunities

Mass is celebrated in the main chapel on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.   Readings for Sunday Liturgies.

Baptism is ministered to the children of registered, active members of St. Leonard Faith Community or residents of St. Leonard Senior Living Center .  A formation program is required; contact the Faith Community Office for more information.

Confirmation is celebrated with the high school students every other year.

First Reconciliation for children is celebrated as part of the communal penance celebrations.  The students are prepared as part of their religious instruction and receive the sacrament when their parents believe them to be ready.

First Eucharist is celebrated during the Easter season each spring.  Students receive instruction as part of their regular class time.  In addition, parents are urged to participate in a meeting with parents,  in a Family Eucharist Retreat on a Sunday afternoon in early spring, and at a prayer and meal with the student's prayer partners.

Matrimony is celebrated with registered, active members of St. Leonard Faith Community.  A formation program is required.  Contact the Faith Community Office at least six (6) months before the hoped for wedding date.  Do not contact the St. Leonard Senior Living Center to reserve the chapel; that will be handled by the Faith Community Office.

Reconciliation is celebrated communally during Advent and Lent. The Sacrament of Reconciliation also can be scheduled with the priest Chaplain/Moderator. Neighboring parishes regularly offer the sacrament as well.

Initiation or Entry into Full Communion with the Church is celebrated at the Easter Vigil Mass.   A formation program is required: Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).  A formation program is also offered for children older then seven years of age (RCIC) who were never baptized or were baptized in another Christian denomination and whose parents desire them to become full members of the Catholic Church.  Contact the Faith Community Office for details.

Anointing of the Sick.   Arrangements can be made with our Chaplain/Moderator for reception of the sacrament by the sick, seriously injured, hospitalized, etc.
