Social Justice:
This ministry builds
understanding between people of different color, religion and economic
circumstances, and provides education/discussion opportunities for members who
wish to increase their awareness of social justice issues. Speakers on diversity and social justice are invited to St. Leonard. The National Issues Forums,
helping out with Habitat for Humanity, and a hunger banquet are examples of some
activities planned by the ministry. Meetings
are informal gatherings after Mass or planned as needed to organize a specific
project.
Outreach:
The Outreach Ministry is the
place where our tithes are distributed to the poor and less fortunate.
People who work in this ministry get involved with those who are in need.
