Life
Hospitality:
This group welcomes
new members through home meetings and introductions to other Community
members. If you enjoy meeting new
people and helping others feel welcome, there is a place for you in this
ministry.
Social Events:
The Social Ministry
plans all the social activities for the Community, including coffee and
donuts after
Mass.
Some of the typical annual events are:
Holy Thursday dinner, Epiphany brunch, 4th of July
picnic, dances, hay rides, ice cream social, etc.
Volunteers for this committee help with planning and overseeing
events from start to finish. Planning
meetings are held for larger events and additional community volunteers
are solicited. Volunteers may
choose to participate in a single or several events.
Fellowship
(coffee & donuts):
This fellowship
activity is held immediately following Sunday
Mass.
Responsibilities include picking up the donuts, preparation of the
coffee, and other beverages before Mass and clean up afterwards.
This activity is held outside during the summer months and in the
Undercroft during fall, winter, and spring months.
Supplies are monitored and purchased by the social coordinator.
Volunteers are needed as monthly coordinators, weekly helpers,
and to set up a weekly schedule to encourage the entire Faith Community
to assist with this activity.
Women’s Group:
A way to get to know
other women in the Community through planned events with open discussion
and sharing. Meeting times
